The music was a bit confusing. I wasn't sure what you were trying to tell with the shots. I did like the effect you used even though it felt a little out of place.
I loved this! At first those surreal moments soundtracked by the terrifying audio felt out of place, but seeing it sort of resolved at the end in a narrative way made it so satisfying to watch!
Visually, some of the lighting felt off, and some of the panning shots (not the proper term, but I hope you know what I mean) were a bit shaky, which I felt distracted a bit from the overall feel, but it was overall a great and well-executed piece!
I really liked the mirroring shot because it appears as if you're walking into some unknown portal. The music that is playing at that moment gives me that sense of "another world".
The music worked really well, it was calming enough that it made you feel in suspense that something was going to happen. I was a little confused by the mirror image, but I think the sound worked very with it once again.
It was a pretty cool video. I didn't see the mirror image scene coming, but I liked it and the music you chose for that part too. The shots were a good as well, like the low to high and right to left shots.
I like how you kept the camera moving a lot. For example, the way that you panned onto the subject you were filming (as opposed to opening the shot already on them) created dynamism and a sort of suspense. The use of the mirror filter was cool - I liked how the girl walked into herself, disappeared, then emerged again. It was also really cool how the music and mirroring made the hallway look like a spaceship or something. My only criticism is the music transitions could use some work.
I don't think the music transitioning works very well but I think the effects that you put in the middle where you're cloned is very cool.
ReplyDeleteI thought your concept was pretty cool! I enjoyed the random transformer type noises at those two specific shots. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI think you did an awesome job the music was so creepy I liked it, i kept thinking something was going to pop out on me.

ReplyDeleteIt was very scary. I want to see the full film. The idea/concept was awesome. This was done very well.
ReplyDeletei thought the mirror effect was awesome and very in sync to the music
