Very interesting choice of audio. It went well with many of the shots, although I felt some shots were slightly disconnected from others.
The first shot was an amazing start to a great video i loved the reflections in the puddles and the man speaking was just a great compliment.
First of all, WOW! I love that you chose a spoken soundtrack. The footage you captured of the raindrops hitting the puddle and the children waiting in line for the zoo were incredible and precise. I think you did an amazing job and really brought on a set of emotions from the various shots you took.
P E R F E C T.I really loved the color correction, the shot compositions, the choice of objects and subjects in the shots, and the non-diagetic soundtrack of the old fashioned, archival speech. I felt like your video definitely had a story and message to it, which makes it that more meaningful and emotional. I DIG IT! Keep doing what you do!
I really liked the video! The documentary style narrative was a unique approach. The shots were good too. I especially liked the close ups of objects like the tree branch, or the puddle of water. The tunnel scenes were well composed too. Loved the video.
I liked the use of black and white which went well with the sound of the man's voice. I also thought that the shots you had of the rain drop and people was good. When he is talking about love and you see the interactions between people, it was warm and cute. Nice Job.
What a perfect audio track for the shots. Good choice with the b/w too, combined with the audio it sort of gave the effect of old film movies of this sort where the narrator would discuss that action in the shot in some dissociative way.I found some of the tunnel shots to be off-putting, though I'm not sure why. I felt the way they were framed was distracting but I can't quite put my finger on it.-Jose <3
I enjoy the puddle shots, it added another dimension to the video. I like what you did with the pairing of the black and white shots with the soundtrack.
The audio that you used and the black and white make the video appear that it is from years ago. The footage that you used really went well with what the narrator was saying. I really liked the shot of the water droplet on the branch and then how the next shot was of a droplet of water hitting a puddle. I thought it was a great video.
Loved it. The choice to use the sound that you did rather than music was really cool, and it was great how you focused on the various relationships and people you saw. I especially liked the shot of the silhouetted woman walking alone with the umbrella while the narrator was talking about fear. The shots of the water droplet on the branch and the reflections in the puddles were awesome.
Was very cool. The audio you chose felt like it was telling a story. The ending was short and simple.
Your diversity of shots was excellent and the use of a voice soundtrack was brilliant! I felt like it could have been straight from a scene in a 1940s film.
two things that i love about this video, the audio which is hard to describe but its like a vintage radio report, like when radio or t.v. was new, and i Iove the close up shot of the puddle. Using the water's reflection of the tree, the second cut in the sequence of that was too quick.
