  1. Great choice of music. It created a sad feeling that worked well with the rainy, lonely shots.

  2. I really loved the shot compositions! The song choice really fit with the idea behind the shots because I felt the madness of winter. Really great job and color correction!

  3. I really liked your choice of song it was cool seeing yours compared to the other video and how you portrayed the shots i think it went well.

  4. I like the combination of the shots and pace that the music created. I feel like it really goes hand in hand.

  5. I really like the song you chose. Mad World works very well with the scenery of the city. However i thought there was a slight disconnect between some of the shots. One moment we are looking at ducks on ice and then a close up of a statue. I think all the shots were done very well, just some tweaking on the order perhaps. Great Job!!!

  6. The music went well with your footage because it was slow and many of your shots had a slower pace, so it worked out nicely.

  7. I really enjoy how the last shot faded out into black. It was a great way to end the video. I also like how the shots give a sense of sadness and sorrow just the same as the music does.

  8. I loved the contrast this piece had with the other piece that used some of the same clips. While the other one used a antiquated voice over to give a sense of humanistic hope, this one uses 'Mad World' to give a sense of humanistic despair to all the desaturated shots.

But because this was set to a relatively slow piece of music, I felt it made the shakiness of some of the footage even more distracting than the other piece, where the shakes felt like they were almost intentional.

  9. I liked the music, especially in the closing shot with the person walking away, it reflected a the sadness in the song. I also liked the use of the blur in some scenes, because it made a nice transition.

  10. Im big supporter of our american troops so, it was perfect just cuz of that, and the low wide shot of the girl in the tunnel was awesome i think it has a great depth of field

  11. the rain and music gave the video a melancholic feel to it and went together well. I liked the close ups on objects but also the zoom in on the statue with the two soldiers. The shot across the bridge in central park was good as well, it showed depth and space.

  12. That song will forever remind me of Donnie Darko - but I do think it fit the mood of the film well. The change of focus from the tree to the water droplet was great. The shot of the sculpture and the zooming in on the soldier holding up his friend was awesome, especially as the song was talking about how mad of a world it is.
